We have decided that this season is over for us, we will spend the coming months getting ready for the 2009 season. Please check back with us often for updates on our car and sponsor announcements. We are currently looking for new sponsors to join our racing family. As most know, we ended the 2008 season on a very strong note and are excited for next year, we would love to add new friends to our team. If you or your business are interested in our team you can contact us via the contact page on this site.

The race this past saturday at Friendship Speedway was a wild one at least. After a poor qualifing attempt we started 17th in a 24 car field. After several tries to start the feature, we were involved in many of the instances but survived each one. We charged ahead to as high as 6th place but at the end we were running 8th when the checkers fell. We will update the site as our future plans come about so stop by often. Thanks to those who have supported us this past season!

The events at Carolina were cancelled due to the weather. This also concluded the points series, leaving us to finish 3rd in the limited latemodel points. We plan to attend the events at Friendship Speedway on 10/4. Come up and root us on!
9/13/08
The races for the 12th were cancelled due to the weather this past week. We plan to attend Carolina on the 26th for the final points race.

After finishing 2nd at Carolina on 8/29 we look forward to returning friday the 12th. Come cheer us on!
8/23/08
On friday, 8/22 we competed at Carolina Speedway. We started 6th in the feature and moved into the 3rd spot. On the last lap, the second place car #27 of Brandon Ifft, found himself with heavy contact into the outside wall on the back stretch and collected us as the car made its way back down the track. That caused us to end up 6th. We had a good car and are planning to return to Carolina again on the 29th.

This past weekend, at the last minute, we decided to run in the Southern-Allstars Super Latemodel Pop Pursley Memorial race at Cherokee Speedway where JP environmental put up $1000 to the highest finishing Limited Latemodel. We are proud to announce that our team not only finished 11th in the event but were able to also be the top LLM! I want to thank Tulley at JP Environmental for the reward! We will run 8/22 at Carolina and hope to see ya'll there.
Photo from Pop Pursley race, the cars ran "topless". Thanks Mike Butler

We attended I-77 Speedway on the 9th when an unfortunate meeting with the outside wall on the first lap ended our hopes for a great race. We were able to get out and make laps to finish in the 10th spot. We plan to race at Carolina on the 22nd. See ya there!
8/3/08
We are back from a well deserved vacation and attended Carolina on friday the 1st where we started 3rd in our heat and finished 3rd. We started 6th in the feature and finished 6th. Once again the track was in great shape. This saturday the 9th we plan to attend I-77 speedway. Carolina will not be racing latemodels on the 8th. Come on down to Chester and cheer us on.
7/12/08
We attended Carolina Speedway on the 11th and I must say the track was in top shape! Good job guys! We started on the pole for our heat and finished 3rd, that placed us 5th for the feature. We managed to get to 3rd and with two laps to go we got loose in turn one and allowed one by. That placed us 4th overall in the feature. It was a good run for our team and we hope we have turned a page toward better finishes. Thanks for stopping by and we plan to return to Carolina on the 18th.
7/6/08
Hope everyone had a great Independence Day. Carolina Speedway was cancelled due to the rains that moved through. We plan to return friday the 11th.
6/30/08
We attended I-77 Speedway on the 28th where they had a great turn out. 18 Latemodels started the feature. They had time trial qualifying where we posted the 6th fastest time. On the first lap we were in the 5th position when contact from another car left us with a flat left rear tire. After pitting for another tire we re-started in the 18th spot. From there we only managed to get back to the 11th spot. We plan to attend Carolina Speedway on the 4th.
6/26/08
We plan to run the Rite Care charity race at I-77 Speedway this saturday the 28th. Come out and help out the Shriners.
6/22/08
On saturday the 21st we made another trip to I-77 Speedway where we started on the pole in the first heat and went on to finish second. That left us starting 3rd for the feature. After the second lap we were running third and then passed for the second spot. Shortly after we were involved in a spin in turn two that resulted in head on contact with the inside wall. After restarting in the rear we were racing for the 6th spot when the engine overheated due to the damage to the front of the car.
6/15/08
Happy Fathers Day to all the dads out there! On Fri 13th We raced at Carolina Speedway once again. The track was definitly in better shape this week. I'm not superstitious, but we had some rotten luck, I'm going to blame it on the 13th anyway! While running 4th in our heat, we broke off a rear brake caliper braket which caused us to lose our brakes. We were unable to repair it for the feature so we capped off the brake line and went out for the feature event. We started in the rear and was working up through the field when the rear-end came apart, that event ended our night and we were scored in the 9th spot. We hope to have it repaired and go back to I-77 on sat. the 21st and have another good run as we did on the last trip down there.
6/8/08
This past saturday 7th, we attended I-77 Speedway again and as always glad to be there. Great racetrack as usual. We started on the pole for our heat and went on the finish 2nd. That left us in the 4th starting spot in the feature. We fell in line in the 3rd spot and eventually into 2nd as one of the other cars fell out. After the halfway point the car picked up a push condition and allowed one car to pass off turn four and as we entered into turn one we had very hard contact with another car that left us broke and could not continue. We are very excited about the good run and wish we could have finished the race but......After the news about Carolina getting the track worked out this past weekend we plan to return there on the 13th(ugggh) Also want to congratulate Tim Allen and crew on winning the Carolina Clash race on the 6th! Great Job!
6/1/08
Welcome back everyone! On friday the 30th we went to Carolina Speedway where the track conditions were less than acceptable for us to compete on so we just opted to start the feature and pull off to save from tearing up our car and be able to race it at Lancaster saturday where we could go and acutually enjoy a race. At Lancaster, 15 cars were there which I believe was a large count for those guys, we drew the 7th starting spot for our heat. We managed to finish 5th which placed us 10th for the feature. After finding ourselves in a first turn pile-up suffering sheet metal damage we restarted 10th and worked ourselves up to 6th before I decided to see what the track looked like going backward! We were placed in the rear for bringing out the caution and went on to finish 7th overall. We are looking forward to running at Chester saturday June 7th and having another great night at one of our favorite racetracks. We will let everyone know when we plan to return to Carolina.
5/18/08
A big weekend of racing! Friday night at Carolina Speedway, we were on the pole for the first heat and surrendered to a second place finish to a very fast Chris Ferguson. We started 3rd in the feature where we wound up placing 4th over-all. On saturday, we decided to go to Cherokee Speedway since the other tracks were not racing LLM this weekend to try our luck against the Super Late-models. We did manage to finish on the lead lap in 9th place. Over-all, we had a great weekend and look forward to returning to Carolina May 30th. Enjoy the Memorial Day weekend and tell a Veteran thanks!
5/11/08
Happy Mothers day Moms!!!!! Last night we went to I-77 Speedway. We finally had our chance to run our car since Carolina hasn't run our division for the last two weeks. 16 cars signed in and as "luck" would have it we draw the last starting spot for our heat. We were able to finish 5th while experiencing carb trouble and a last lap crash trying to avoid a spinning car. We fixed the carb and suspension damage and started 10th in the feature. The feature was very good for us as we stayed out of trouble and raced to 5th place finish. I want to send a special thanks to John Lacross from Lacross Engine Development for his help and building us a strong engine. We plan to attend Carolina Speedway on friday 5/16. See ya at the races!!!!
4/27/08
On 4/25 we returned to Carolina and competed in the K2 car owned by Kent Petrea. He was nice enough to let us drive due to our motor not yet being ready. During the heat race a hiem joint broke in the front end and caused a meeting with the outside wall off turn 2. We scrambled to find parts and repair the damage for the feature and time cut us short. We were unable to get the camber/toe set properly and were forced to make laps and salvage what we could for the night. We finished 9th. Thanks to Kent for the chance to drive, seems like forever since we last did! John Lacross from Lacross Engine Development (LED) said we should be ready for 5/2/08, we are looking forward to racing again.
4/10/08
Mother nature won the events on 4/4/08, she currently holds the points lead! We will not be competing on 4/11 due to Carolina running Super latemodels as their feature event for that night. Also Carolina will not open on the 18th due to the Collosal at the Dirt Track @ Lowes. We will resume racing on the 25th. See ya then!
4/1/08
I would like to congradulate ourselves on the two first place finishes we had over the weekend! April Fools!!!! OK back to reality, We were at Carolina Speedway fri 3/28 and placed 3rd in the feature. The track was in much better shape this week, those guys did a great job on the prep.
3/25/08
The racing at Carolina was rough to say the least. The track conditions were the worst that I have seen. We managed to hang on to a survival that was a 4th place finish. On saturday we traveled to Lancaster Speedway where we threw off the fan belts in the hot laps, after searching for replacements we missed our heat race and had to start in the rear of the feature. From there we finished 6th. We will be returning to Carolina friday the 28th and are hoping for a better track to race on this week.
See you at the races!
3/18/08
We will be at Carolina 3/21/08. We are looking forward to racing again and seeing old friends. Stop by and say hey!

A good friend of ours passed away yesterday afternoon. James Dunlap, A man who loved racing as much as anyone Ive known. His son Everette sold us our first latemodel and hangs all our bodies for us. They have bent over backward to help me over the past years. I would look forward to listening to James tell his stories and the comical arguments that He and Everette would have, you know Father & Son. We spent the '05 season racing with the Dunlaps at I-77 Speedway and Michelle would often grill something to eat, which we would usually share with anyone that asked. James would always ask Michelle to make his hot-dogs black, so he got burnt dogs! Our prayers go out to the whole Dunlap family, and James we will miss you! In Victory Lane with Jesus Christ, we are all winners!

James Dunlap with his son Howard. 11/24/07 at Sumter Speedway.
Thanks for visiting,
